BLS Provider/Renewal

BLS Provider 4.5 hours/Renewal 3 hours, $60

The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. This course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.

What does this course teach?

High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants: 1-rescuer, 2-rescuers and team dynamics.

The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components Important early use of an AED Effective ventilations using a barrier device.

Importance of teams in multi-rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants and children.

Heart Saver CPR/AED

1.5-2 hours, $50

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is available in two different training methods – blended learning which is ½ elearning online through AHA and 1/2 classroom training and traditional classroom training.

All Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course options teach the same AHA science-based skills and result in the same AHA Course Completion Card.

AHA Heart-saver First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

What does this course teach:

First aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, preventing illness and injury, adult CPR and AED use, opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies.

Hands Only CPR

30 min, $40

The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for adults, children, and infants. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a CPR course completion card to meet a job requirement. This course is ideal for community groups, new parents, grandparents, babysitters, and others interested in learning how to save a life.
